Integrity Testing
Integrity Testing is an overt self-report integrity measure designed for use in personnel screening and selection, with questions which specifically address five areas of counterproductive behavior:
- Workers compensation fraud
- Substance abuse
- Theft
- Dependability/Attendance
- Violence
Shrinkage (i.e. internal theft), substance abuse, violence, poor attendance and other inappropriate workplace behaviors have profound impact on the bottom-line of most organizations. Screening-out those candidates with a propensity for such behavior is one viable approach for improving organizational effectiveness. Integrity Testing is a demonstrably reliable and valid instrument that can be used for accomplishing that objective.
In addition, Integrity Testing saves companies money. The per applicant cost of an Integrity Test is about 1/3rd the price of a basic criminal background check – not to mention that a background check can only report activities for which the applicant has been “caught.” Organizations that use Integrity Testing quickly discover that the testing can:
- Reduce workers’ comp claims
- Lower employee turnover
- Reduce employee theft
- Reduce overall background screening expenditures
- Speed up the hiring process by identifying unqualified applicants up-front
Our Integrity Tests are EEOC compliant, both validated and non-discriminatory – exceeding the legal requirements of Federal and State guidelines for the use of behavioral psychological assessments.
